Intro

Ich bin Philipp. Ich lebe in Köln, spiele Gitarre und interessiere mich für alles, was mit Linux zu tun hat, auch wenn ich nur die Hälfte davon verstehe. Beruflich unterrichte ich Geschichte und Englisch an einer Kölner Gesamtschule - mehr darüber hier.

Beruflich

Seit 2011 arbeite ich an der Gesamtschule Holweide. Ich leite dort die Fachschaft Geschichte und bin Digitalisierungsbeauftragter. In der Vergangenheit war ich wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft am Institut für Nordamerikastudien der Universität Freiburg. In diesem Kontext habe ich auch einige Dinge geschrieben und herausgegeben. Studiert habe ich in Münster und Freiburg, gearbeitet u.a. als Fremdsprachenassistent an der Reading School und Kendrick School in Reading, Vereinigtes Königreich.

Über mich

Ich bin großer Linux-Enthusiast, auch wenn ich bei Weitem nicht alles verstehe, was ich da so mache. Außerdem spiele ich Gitarre, Bass und probiere grundsätzlich jedes Saiteninstrument aus, das mir in die Hände kommt. Mittlerweile bin ich recht gut darin geworden, Gitarren und Bässe zu modifizieren und zu reparieren. Vor langer Zeit habe ich mit meiner damaligen Band ein Album aufgenommen.
Ich habe ein Herz für (seltsame) Videospielkonsolen und besitze u.a. immer noch eine OUYA.
